FIMT School of Law-Legal Aid Society is a devoted society which aims at providing legal aid and assistance to the economically and socially backward people who cannot afford going to courts and get professional legal help.
The society pursues on reaching to under privileged section of the society and tirelessly providing them with the legal assistance by the means of legal literacy programs and legal literacy workshops which is in compliance with the Legal Services Authorities Act,1987. It is a vibrant society which organizes and conducts awareness programs and legal aid camps.
FIMT - Legal Service Clinic
The Legal Services Clinic, FIMT School of Law under the aegis of NATIONAL LEGAL SERVICE AUTHORITIES and DELHI STATE LEGAL SERVICE AUTHORITIES, inaugurated the Legal Service Clinic on 12 th December, 2022 by the Chief Guest. Shri Bharat Parashar, Member Secretary, DSLSA, in the presence of Shri. Sumeet Anand, Additional Secretary, DSLSA, Ms. Anuradha Jindal, Secretary, South West, DSLSA, Prof (Dr.) M. Afzal Wani, Advisor-FIMT. The society primarily focuses on creating legal awareness and providing legal aid with the assistance of para legal volunteers and legal aid lawyers at the legal services clinic, FIMT school of law.

Para legal volunteers play a very significant role in our society, performing several roles :
1) To educate people, especially those belonging to weaker sections of the society,
2) To spread awareness among the people about their basis human rights, fundamental rights and other legal rights & duties through Nukkad-Nataks, skits and banners
3) PLVs also assist in conducting the Legal Literacy Camps.
The FIMT-Legal Aid Society plans to conduct Legal Awareness Programs and awareness programs related to:
1. Gender Sensitization
2) Prohibition of Child Labour and Domestic Violence
3. Right to Free and Compulsory Education
4. Protecting Senior Citizen’s Rights
5. Child Sexual Offenses etc.

1. Para Legal Volunteers Training: A three-day Para Legal Training Programme was conducted at the FIMT-School of Law under the aegis of NALSA and DSLSA from 12 th December,2022 to 14 th December,2022 on the legal topics of utmost importance.
2. ‘Saanjhi Muskan’ –The donation drive by South-West District Legal Services Authority under the aegis of DSLSA and NALSA was conducted at the FIMT-School of Law. The students and faculty members donated old clothes, books and toys generously.
The Legal Service Clinic is open every Monday from 10 AM- 4PM for members of general public to visit.
