About IPU CET/CUET
Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University holds IPU CET to invite admissions into various UG and PG programs such BCA, BBA, BA-LLB(Int.), BBA-LLB(Int.), B.Com(H), BA(JMC), B.Ed., BA-Eco(H) and BA-Eng(H) courses., etc. Candidates who wish to take admission in various programs offered by the university can fill the application form. For BA-LLB (Integrated) & BBA-LLB (Integrated) programs), the university uses the merit/score of the National Level Test (CLAT) Conducted by agencies and for others, the university conducts CET itself. The aspiring candidate will have to fill and submit the online application form. Candidates are advised to read the Admission Brochure carefully and go through the instructions regarding filling of online Application Form given on the GGSIPU website www.ipu.ac.in before starting online registration. The candidate should ensure that all information entered during the online registration process is correct.
How to Apply for IPU CET
1. Visit the official
website of GGSIP University
2. Click on the link
“IPU CET 2024 Registration”.
3. Select the exam category from the given choices.
4. Enter the required credentials i.e. personal details and academic details.
5. Upload photograph and signatures of file size less than 80 kb. The file must be in JPG, JPEG or GIF format.
6. Select the course and Test centre.
7. Upon submission, you will receive a system-generated log in id and password on your id.
Steps to fill IPU CET application form online
1. Valid E-Mail ID & Mobile Number.
2. Scanned copy of the recent passport size colour photograph in JPG/JPEG format only (not older than 3 weeks and size 4.5 cm x 3.5 cm) should be under 10kb - 100 KB. Candidate should ensure that the same photograph is used throughout this admission process.
3. Scanned image of signature in JPG/JPEG format only (with black or blue ink only) should be under 10kb - 100 KB.
4. Candidate’s educational qualifications as per eligibility criteria (from 10th/Matriculation onwards) with percentage of marks obtained (please calculate percentage from CGPA / OGPA in advance as per university conversion formula).
5. Caste Certificate (SC/ST/OBC) & Category Certificate (EWS) in prescribed format.
6. Disability Certificate - applicable in case of Persons with Benchmarked Disability (PWD).
7. Details of Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking for making payment through online mode (If applicable).

Candidates can follow the steps for filling the IPU CET 2024 Application Form given below:
Step-1: Visit Official Website
• Visit the official website of IPU CET 2024.
• Click on the link “Registration For Admission 2024”.
• The application form will be displayed on the screen.
Step-2: Filling the Details
Candidates have to fill the below-mentioned details in the application form:
• Personal Information: Applicant Name, Category, Gender, Date of Birth, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Nationality, Category, Religion etc.
• Communication Details: Address, State, City, Pin code, Email ID, Mobile Number and Residence Number.
Step-3: Uploading the Images
• After filling the details candidates have to upload the documents.
• Select the scanned copy of the recent photograph, signature and left thumb impression.
• Then upload the mentioned documents one by one.
Step-4: Filling Other Details
• Qualification Details: Fill the Examination Name, Board/University, Year of Passing and Marks obtained of the qualifying examinations.
• Candidates then have to read the declaration carefully and then enter the security code and tick on “I Agree” Checkbox.
• At last, Click on the “Submit” button.
Step-5: Fee Payment
• After filling the form completely, candidates have to pay the application fee.
• Payment can be done online as well as offline mode.
• Fill the payment details carefully and make payment carefully.
Step-6: Submit the form
• After fee payment candidates are required to click on the submit button.
• Then the application form will get submitted.
• Candidates are advised to print the filled application form for further use.
Correction Fee(if any) in application form
Students must fill the application form correctly as no correction facility is provided by the authority. However, in case of mistake candidates may send a physical hard copy of application form (with an applicable default processing fee of Rs. 500/-) to the address (Reception, Examination Division,Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.)

Candidates with at least 50% (fifty percent) marks either in the Bachelor‘s Degree and/or in the Master‘s Degree in Science / Social Sciences/
Humanities, Bachelor‘s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55 % (fifty five percent) marks or any other qualification equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the programme. The University shall follow NCTE guidelines/ regulations for the B.Ed. programmes for admissions and implementation. Admissions Criteria:

General Guidelines
1. Computer Based Test (CBT Mode) will be conducted for CET.
2. The test centers for the Common Entrance Tests conducted by the University shall notified by CET CELL, GGSIPU.
3. There may be negative marking for every incorrect answer. Incorrect answers will include Wrong answers' as well as "those which contain more than one answer to the question." For each incorrect answer 1 mark will be deducted. The negative marking scheme of examination for a particular CET shall be specified (except M.PHIL & PH.D.)
4. The University shall declare the result of each CET in respect of qualifying candidates and the list will be displayed on the University's website, i.e., http://www.ipu.ac.in No separate intimation to this effect will be sent to the candidates individually.
5. The University does not issue or supply or intimate the marks / ranks to any candidate and no correspondence on the subject will be entertained. However, marks obtained by individual candidate can be seen or downloaded from the University's website http://www.ipu.ac.in
6. The rules of examinations as enshrined in the University Act, Statutes, Ordinances, Regulations and procedures or as approved by the Vice Chancellor of the University shall be applicable on all candidates.
Guideline for filling of Application Form IPU CET 2024
1. The candidates are advised to go through the admission Brochure carefully and acquaint themselves with all requirements in respect to filling up of the Online Application Forms for the CET.
2. Any candidate may fill any application form for admissions. It will be the sole responsibility of the candidate to make sure that he / she is eligible and fulfills all the conditions prescribed for admission. The fee paid for application for admission shall not be refundable.
3. If ineligibility of a candidate is detected at any stage before or after examination / declaration of result or during any stage of the programme, his / her candidature / admission will be cancelled without any notice, disciplinary action will be taken against him / her and entire fee will also be forfeited. The Vice Chancellor, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University may cancel the admission of any student for specific reasons at any stage.
4. Incomplete application form will be summarily rejected and no request will be entertained in this regard.
5. CET Code: If the candidate is desirous of appearing in more than one Test, separate Application Form should be submitted for each test. Verify the CET Code from the List of Programmes in Admission Brochure before submitting the form. Any request / application for change of CET Code will NOT be entertained.
6. The AADHAR ID: The candidate may write their 12 digit AADHAR ID or number.
7. Name of the Candidate: Candidates should write his / her Name in CAPITAL LETTERS as given in Class X or equivalent certificate. If your name has several initials, leave one blank after each of them.
8. Name of Father / Mother: Write the name of your Father or Mother exactly as in your Class X or equivalent certificate. Writing mother‘s name is compulsory.
9. Date of Birth: Enter the date, month and year of your birth as per English calendar and as recorded in your School / Board (Class – X) / Pre-University examination certificate. Birth field is mandatory. If date of birth is not filled, the date of birth value of 01.01.1950 will be used.
10. Category: Select the appropriate option for your categories – SC, ST, OBC, UR, EWS, Physically Handicapped / Persons with disablity, Defence and J & K Migrant. If no category is specified, you would be considered as falling under ‗General‘ category. And, no claim whatsoever shall be entertained thereafter. Category certificate to be verified during admission/ Counseling. If a candidate falls in more than two categories, he / she can select multiple options. If a general category candidate fills up a reserved category, then the candidature for admission to be considered if and only if the rank is within the general cut off rank.
11. Gender: Select the correct option.
12. Region: Select the option titled ―Delhi Region‖ if you have passed your qualifying examination from any school / college located in Delhi or from any institution affiliated to GGSIP University. Select the option titled ―Outside Delhi‖ if you have passed your qualifying examination from any school / college located in any other part of the country (India) excluding the institutions affiliated to GGSIP University. Incorrectness in Region may lead to cancellation of admission on verification of documents.
13. Qualifying Exam: Select the option titled ―PASSED‖ if you have already passed 10+2 or any other specified qualifying examination, which makes you eligible for the Entrance Test. Select the option titled ―APPEARING‖ if you are appearing for the examination, which makes you eligible. The title
―APPEARING‖ covers the cases of ―APPEARED‖ candidates also.

Religion: Select the appropriate option. Minority certificate will be verified at the time of admissions for consideration of admissions in minority institutions.

Nationality: If your nationality is Indian, option indicated for ―INDIAN‖. If your nationality is not Indian; option indicated for ―OTHERS‖.

Mailing Address: Write your name and complete mailing address IN CAPITAL LETTERS including the PIN CODE. Candidates are required to enter correct Mobile numbers with relevant STD Code and email address at which the SMS/communication is to be sent.

Photograph of the Candidate: The candidate should upload his / her recent colour photograph with white background of size as specified. Your face should cover about 75% of the photograph (without attestation)taken on or after 01st January of the admission year. The candidate should also upload his / her scanned signature and scanned left thumb impression. Instructions for photograph:
i. Photograph should not have cap, goggles etc. (Spectacles are allowed). The face of the candidate should cover about 75% of the photo.
ii. The candidate should keep two identical photographs with him / her, in reserve which may have to be used for pasting in the Admit Card at the time of Entrance Test / Counseling / Admission, in case of doubt regarding the identity.

Visible Mark of Identification: Candidate should mention visible mark of identification.

Centre of Common Entrance Test:
i. Examination Centre once allotted by the University will not be changed and no request in this regard will be entertained under any circumstances. In case the first and second option for centre are not invoked or due to any other reason, then the candidate will be allocated Delhi Centre.
20.
Verification and Counter signatures: While filling up of the application form, the candidate must verify the correctness of all the particulars furnished by him / her. In case any candidate is found to have furnished false information or is found to have concealed any material information in his / her application, he / she will be debarred from admission. Further, such a candidate shall also be liable for punishment.
21. The candidate will be solely responsible for all the consequences arising out of any error or omission in the Application Form.
22. Candidates for MBBS Programme falling under army quota are also eligible for admission to other colleges of Medical Science, on the basis of other categories (including General) to which the candidate may belong, and must fill up the appropriate option in the application form.
